Europe's imports of tuna loins have doubled in five years

According to the Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), skipjack accounts for 63% of the 178,080 tons of tuna loins imported to the EU in 2020. The amount of tuna loins imported to the EU is 14% higher than in 2019. and nearly doubled the volume of imports in 2016.
