The Indonesian government has simultaneously released agricultural exports to 61 countries, with a total value of Rp 7.29 trillion and a total weight of 627.4 million tons. The exports, which include products from 341 regencies and cities in Indonesia, cover plantation products, food, horticulture, and livestock. The Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, revealed that the agricultural sector has seen a significant increase in export value, reaching Rp 277.95 trillion from January to June 2021, an increase of 40.29% compared to the same period in 2020. The Minister aims to double or even triple the value of agricultural exports by 2024 by developing potential products other than oil palm.
