Exchange of information on pesticide registration and evaluation systems between Brazil and others...Expansion of export base in South and Central America
A meeting was held to strengthen cooperation with Brazil, the world's largest pesticide market, in order to establish a foundation for the overseas expansion of our agricultural technology. On the 26th of last month, the 'Korea-Brazil Pesticide Registration and Evaluation System Information Exchange Symposium' was held at the Rural Development Administration International Conference Hall in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, organized by the Rural Development Administration. At this symposium, the National Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology, which is responsible for domestic pesticide evaluation, and Brazil's pesticide registration agencies, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) and the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA), shared the pesticide registration procedures and evaluation systems of the two countries and discussed cooperation plans.
