Vietnam is implementing a policy to develop organic agriculture, with the goal of producing safe agricultural products with high nutritional value and contributing to sustainable economic development. The country has made progress in organic farming, with many localities engaged in production and significant certified areas. The government, along with other stakeholders, is working to address the limitations and shortcomings, especially in branding of agricultural products. There are various models of organic farming, including large-scale mechanization and a closed agricultural system. These agricultural products are being sold well in local supermarkets and the country is aiming to export organic agricultural products.
