Marian Dityuk, a beekeeper with 240 colonies, has expressed concern over the undervaluation of honey in Ukraine, highlighting the higher prices in neighboring Poland. He emphasizes the high costs of producing quality honey and the prevalence of counterfeit products. Dityuk proposes state subsidies and financial support for beekeeping equipment as solutions to cultivate a profitable and high-quality honey industry. He points out the potential of beekeeping products to boost the immune system and fight diseases, especially in epidemic times. Furthermore, he stresses the importance of apiaries in supporting horticulture and field crops and suggests that the Lviv region should develop a comprehensive agricultural program to bolster these industries.
