By 2024, Russia has successfully established and registered 10 broodstocks of whitefish in the Rosrybolovstvo register. This achievement was made possible by the efforts of experts from GosNIORH, who have also compiled a rating of the most promising whitefish species for commercial aquaculture. However, the top three species in this rating were not disclosed in the article.
