During Expoalimentaria 2025, a total of 25 organizations of alternative development producers, which receive technical assistance from the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida), achieved a sales projection exceeding 17.7 million dollars. This amount was reached after 230 business meetings held with entrepreneurs from 33 countries, reflecting the growing international interest in products cultivated under sustainable and organic production models. The projected sales include over 850 tons of cocoa, of which 625 are organic, nearly 1200 tons of coffee, with 936 tons certified as organic, in addition to 23 tons of passion fruit and 74 of orange. These value-added products were exhibited in the Devida pavilion, along with international recognitions that highlighted the quality of the participating cooperatives.
