“Export for Food Industries”: Kuwait accounts for 2.2% of the sector’s total exports within 9 months

Tamim Al-Dawi, Marketing Director at the Export Council for Food Industries, said that Kuwait accounts for 2.2% of the sector’s total exports during the first 9 months of 2020 with a value of $ 57.424 million, noting that it ranks 14th in the list of the most important importing countries from the sector. Organized by the Council in cooperation with the Commercial Representation Authority under the title “Opportunities for the Development of Egyptian Food Exports to Kuwait”, 10 commodities account for 74.8% of the sector’s total exports to Kuwait with a value of $ 42.952 million during the period from “January to September 2020, on top of which is chocolate with a value $ 8.018 million, followed by frozen vegetables with a value of $ 7.637 million.
