Ranked among the world leaders in dried fruit production due to its fertile lands, Turkey achieved a significant success in raisin exports in the first quarter of 2026. Data covering the January and March period showed that raisins from Turkey reached 65 countries. While last year's same period saw 33,877 tons of products earning $125,379,000, this year, due to the impact of climatic changes, a slight decrease in quantity was observed with 32,408 tons exported. The total amount that entered Turkey's coffers as a result of this trade traffic was recorded as $106,920,000. The largest buyer of Turkish raisins remained unchanged as the United Kingdom.
