Since the beginning of 2021, the Republic of Buryatia in Russia has seen a significant increase in agricultural exports, with a 124.6% increase compared to the previous year. The exports, excluding trade with EAEU countries, amounted to USD 32.4 million and 29.5 thousand tons, with dairy products and chicken eggs being the primary exports valued at USD 7.5 million or 5.5 thousand tons. Other exports included meat and food by-products, fats and oils, live animals, and edible fruits and nuts, all predominantly to Mongolia. The exports of finished products from meat and fish also saw a increase. Overall, the export of agricultural products and food in 2021 exceeded the previous year's level by USD 6.4 million.
