From January to November 26, 2021, Russia's Vologda Oblast saw a 1.1% increase in agricultural exports, totaling 22.0 thousand tons and valued at USD 40.6 million, which is a 31.0% increase from the previous year. This growth is attributed to higher product prices and government support for exporters, with the region surpassing its 2021 export target by 19.8%. The exports were distributed across various products, including cereal products, animal feed, food products, cocoa products, beverages, fats, and edible fruits and nuts. These products were exported to 53 countries, with Uzbekistan, China, and Kazakhstan being the leading importers. The main exports to these countries were baby food, fish and crustacean pellets, and bread and flour confectionery.
