Belarus has seen a significant increase in agricultural exports to China, with the first half of 2021 showing a 1.5 times increase compared to the same period in 2020, totaling $156 million. This comes as China remains a key market for Belarusian food exports, with exports growing by 1.9 times in 2020 to $255.2 million. Products such as poultry meat, dairy products, soybean and rapeseed oil, beef, chocolate, and confectionery are among the most exported. In the first half of 2021, China ranked as the second largest importer of Belarusian food products, following Russia. The increase in exports to China is attributed to new promotion mechanisms and the use of electronic platforms for supply, as discussed in a meeting by representatives of regional executive committees and organizations.
