Exports from the province of Granada to the European Union of subtropical products, mainly avocado, mango, and cherimoya, have increased by almost 65% in the first month of the 2025-26 agricultural campaign compared to the same period of the previous year. Exports made to the European Union by companies based in the province of Granada, mainly in the Costa Tropical, of cherimoyas, mangos, and avocados in September, the first month of the campaign, reached 1,709,370 kilos compared to 1,036,182 in the same period of the previous year, representing a growth of 64.9%. According to data provided to EFE by the Technical Assistance and Foreign Trade Inspection Center (Soivre), an agency dependent on the Ministry of Economy, the largest increase in subtropical products has been in mango, which has managed to double its exports by sending 990,913 kilos compared to 485,720 of the previous year.
