From January-May of this year, Russia experienced a significant decrease in the export of oilseeds, vegetable oils, and meals. Sunflower seed exports saw a 97% decrease compared to the previous year, while soybean exports increased by 82%. Rapeseed seed exports also saw a decrease of 30%. Sunflower oil exports to Turkey also decreased significantly, and there was a notable decrease in soybean oil exports. Sunflower meal exports to Latvia and soybean meal exports to the Netherlands and Norway increased. Mayonnaise products exports experienced an 18% decrease, with half of the total export going to EAEU countries. Overall, there was a 12% decrease in the export of vegetable oils and a 2% increase in the export of vegetable meal in January-May compared to the previous year.
