The Turkish dried fruit and products sector has experienced a 13% increase in exports in the first half of 2021, reaching 685 million dollars compared to the same period in 2020. The sector has contributed 362 million dollars to the country's revenue, with seedless raisins being the leading product. Other exports include dried apricots, figs, pistachios, almonds, and other dried fruits. The sector aims to surpass 1.5 billion dollars in exports by the end of the year. The Aegean Dried Fruits and Products Exporters' Association is also focusing on sustainability and digitalization, with plans to establish an online marketplace to promote Turkish organic products.
