Since the start of the year, Russia has experienced a 41% increase in fat and oil product exports, reaching nearly $1.9 billion out of a total agricultural export of $7.6 billion. In March, oilseed and processing product exports from Russian ports surged by 1.4 times, with sunflower oil, sunflower meal, and sunflower seeds making up the majority of the shipments. The main export destinations were Turkey, China, and Iran. Companies from the Chuvash Republic also saw a 1.7 times increase in oilseed exports for April 18, 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, with the main exports going to Poland, Germany, Ukraine, and the Czech Republic.
