The Altai Republic in Russia has seen a significant increase in agricultural exports in the first half of 2021. There has been a 4.5% rise in wheat and meslin exports, a 28.6% increase in live animal exports, and a three-fold increase in the export of fats and oils. Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were the primary importers of these products. The Altai Republic aims to reach an export volume of USD 11 million by the end of 2021, a target that has already been exceeded by 17.3%, with a total export volume of USD 12.9 million and 37.8 thousand tons of products supplied to date.
