The export volume of frozen raspberries from Morocco to Spain reached a record high during the 2022/23 season, but the revenue declined significantly compared to the previous period. Despite a 25% increase in supply, export revenues fell by 30%, resulting in producers receiving only $5.4 million from the sales. Spain has been increasing its imports of frozen raspberries and blackberries annually, with imports doubling in the past five years, making it the 14th largest importer of these fruits globally.
