Export of Peruvian pallares bean grows 20% and reaches US$ 13 million between January and August

(Agraria.pe) Between January and August of this year, Peru exported 7,187,461 kilos of pallares for an FOB value of US$ 13,097,395. These figures reveal a significant increase from the 5,747,561 kilos exported in the same period of 2022 for US$ 9,351,710. According to the consulting firm Agrodata, this result means a 20% increase in shipments. The main destination of this Peruvian product in the period corresponding to 2023, the source points out, was the United States, where placements were achieved for US$6,987,095.
