The Tambov Region in Russia has seen a significant increase in the export of milled products, with a 23-fold rise to USD 1.7 million from January to November 2021, compared to the same period the previous year. Wheat flour makes up the majority of these exports, with over USD 1.1 million. The main importers are Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Belarus. The region, which is a leader in flour production in the Central Federal District, operates ten large and medium-sized flour mills. The region is actively seeking to expand export partnerships as part of the 'Export of agricultural products' project.
