Export quota to the United States set

Through Resolution 42/2024, the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Ministry of Economy announced the distribution of the raw sugar export quota to the United States for the fiscal year 2024-2025. The measure, which comes into effect as of October 1, 2024, sets the amount destined for the US market at 44,178.3 tons. Each year, the United States Government opens a tariff quota that allows the export of raw sugar with a polarization of no less than 96 degrees from the Argentine Republic. For the 2024/2025 cycle, the total quota was set at 46,260 tons, of which, after the polarization adjustment, there is a final balance of 44,178.3 tons. Interested companies have already submitted the corresponding documentation through the Remote Procedures (TAD) platform, complying with the requirements stipulated in Resolution 33/2019 of the then Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries.
