The head of the Altai branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Center for Agricultural Development" Maria Shostak spoke about the main trends in the export of agricultural products in the first half of the year. According to preliminary data as of August 7, 2025, 1.7 million tons of grain and grain products were exported from the Siberian Federal District. This is a quarter less than in the same period of 2024. Grain exports were 662 thousand tons, which is twice less than in the same period of 2024. At the same time, shipments of oilseed crops (538 thousand tons, +21%), feed, compound feed and their components (180 thousand tons, +13%), and grain legumes (153 thousand tons, +6%) increased. Altai Krai still holds the first place in Siberia for grain exports – since the beginning of the year, 301 thousand tons have been exported, which is 13% less than in January-July 2024.
