Colombia: Exports of live cattle until August are already a record

Live cattle exports were reactivated in August, while meat and dairy exports had their highest monthly performance in 2022. In total, the 3 segments have represented revenues of more than 344 million dollars throughout the year, 32 % more compared to 2021. Between January and August of this year, exports of live cattle, meat and offal and dairy products totaled revenues of USD 344.1 million (CIF value), according to DANE statistics compiled by the Planning and Economic Studies Office of Fedegan-FNG. Separated by each item, shipments of livestock continue to represent the highest income with 214.6 million dollars, followed by those of meat and offal with USD 108.1 million, and finally dairy products for USD 11.4 million. This was the behavior of each one.
