Georgia has seen a significant increase in the export of peaches and nectarines, with a total of 23,784 tons exported by the end of August, an increase of 10,963 tons from the previous year. The main importers are the Russian Federation, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, but exports have also been made to Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Moldova, Poland, Slovenia, Singapore, and Qatar. The government is ensuring uninterrupted placement and sale of crops through the operation of refrigeration and storage facilities, and a 'one window' mode for necessary documentation preparation and issuance. A working group has also been created to facilitate communication between farmers and distributors.
