Russia: Exports of peaches and cherries from Azerbaijan at the end of 2023 increased significantly

Azerbaijan has summed up the results of fruit exports in 2023. External supplies of peaches, cherries and cherries, according to the State Statistics Committee, increased by 70% and 21%, respectively. Azerbaijan exported 45,178 thousand tons of peaches in 2023, which is 69.8% more than in 2022, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports. Export revenue amounted to $51 million 435.85 thousand (an increase of 56.6%). The main exports went to Russia. In particular, in 2023, 44.073 thousand tons of peaches were exported to the Russian Federation (an increase of 68.2%) in the amount of $50 million 630.71 thousand (an increase of 56.2%). In general, the Russian Federation accounted for 97.5% of all peaches exports from Azerbaijan in 2023.
