Between January and May of this year, Brazil's exports of poultry genetics, including 1-day-old chicks and fertile eggs, exceeded the previous year's results by 103.4%, totaling 12,500 tons. The accumulated revenue from international sales of these products also increased by 71.9%, reaching a total of US$113 million. Latin American countries, such as Mexico, Senegal, Peru, Paraguay, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia, have become major importers of poultry genetics from Brazil due to partnerships established by local producers and genetic houses in Brazil.
