Peru's export of turkey added close to US$ 3 million 500 thousand between January and October of 2022

The export of turkey, 'star' at Christmas and New Year's dinner, amounted to US$ 3 million 488 thousand between January and October of this year, registering a growth of 415% compared to the same period in 2021 (US$ 676 thousand 887 ), reported the Agricultural Exports Management of the Association of Exporters (ADEX). During this period, Colombia was the only destination of the 7 presentations in which this poultry product was dispatched. The main one was frozen breast fillet for US$2,451,000, followed by frozen breast tenderloin (US$318,009), frozen whole turkey with giblets (US$305,432) and frozen marinated whole turkey with giblets (US $288 thousand 680). The other 3 presentations were exported for less than US$ 100,000. These were frozen thigh fillet, frozen leg and frozen brisket.
