In October 2025, the export of vegetable oils from Ukraine significantly increased. The total volume of shipments amounted to $619.5 million, which is 65.4% more than in September, while the physical volume of exports increased by 63%. This is stated in the monthly AgroDigest of the Ministry of Economy regarding changes in Ukraine's foreign trade in agricultural products. The main driver of growth was sunflower oil, the export of which increased more than 2.2 times both in monetary terms and in physical volumes. Soybean oil also demonstrated positive dynamics, with shipments increasing by approximately 28%. In contrast, the export of rapeseed oil decreased by 14–15%, while cottonseed and mustard oils showed a slight but steady increase. Traditionally, the key buyers of Ukrainian vegetable oils remain the countries of the European Union and Asia.
