The Animal Science and Technology Support Foundation (FACTA) is holding the second edition of FACTA Conecta on April 23, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The virtual meeting is free and will focus on the theme "Vaccination in poultry and swine: how to make safe decisions in increasingly complex sanitary scenarios". The initiative is part of the entity's actions aimed at disseminating technical knowledge for the animal protein chain, with a focus on updating professionals in the sector. The presentation will be led by veterinarian Eva Hunka, a professional with over 25 years of experience in the poultry sector. A Master in Preventive Medicine, she serves as Head of Corporate Marketing at Ilender and Director of Marketing for FACTA. During the meeting, essential topics for defining vaccination programs in poultry and swine will be addressed, including technical criteria for vaccine selection, assessment of sanitary risks in complex scenarios, and the integration of science, strategy, and field reality.
