Faesp presents proposals for milk in SP

The Federation delivered a diagnosis of the milk crisis in São Paulo and presented proposals to preserve producers, income in the countryside, and local production. The Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of the State of São Paulo (Faesp) pointed out to the Secretary of Agriculture and Supply (SAA), Geraldo Melo Filho, concern about the situation faced by the production chain of milk in São Paulo and defended the adoption of urgent measures to preserve the activity and income of the producers. Other states, also producers, have already been mobilizing legislatively and through normative acts to reassess fiscal benefits and create conditions that discourage the importation of dairy products.
