Rapeseed prices on the Paris stock exchange have been on a steady rise for the past four weeks, reaching their highest value since mid-January this year. The May contract price increased by 2.0% on Friday, but is still 18.9% lower than at the same time last year. Similarly, Canadian canola and U.S. soybeans also saw price increases but were lower than the previous year. The long-term trend for rapeseed and soybeans is up, while the mid- and short-term trends are down.
