The Peruvian Amazon Research Institute (IIAP) strengthened family agroforestry in flood-prone areas of the Loreto and Ucayali regions during 2025. This intervention benefited 210 families from 14 communities, contributing to improving food security and boosting the local economy through the recovery of camu camu crops, the incorporation of forest species, and the application of sustainable agronomic practices.
