Family farmers market 22 tons of food with support from Conab

Family farmers from Mato Grosso will donate approximately 22 tons of food to the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) in the city of São José dos Quatro Marcos (MT), benefiting people in food and nutritional insecurity attended by the institution. The products are purchased by the National Food Supply Company (Conab) through the Food Acquisition Program (PAA), in the Simultaneous Purchase with Donation (CDS) modality, which has resources from the Ministry of Social Development and Fight Against Hunger (MDS). The first deliveries of food to the CRAS begin this week, marking the start of the execution of the PAA project signed with producers from the Association of Rural Producers of the São João da Figueirinha Community, as a way to support production.
