The head of the seed farm, Nadiya Ivanova, said that she understands the social importance of building the water pipeline, but the farm has suffered significant direct losses. "We responded to official letters that we agree and will sign all documents on the condition of compensation for direct damages. Indirect damages—loss of fertility and other issues—are a separate matter. Direct damages are what we did not receive. According to our measurements, this amounted to 82 hectares," she noted.
