Indonesia: Fast action with Gerdal APH, the supply of chilies and shallots ahead of Ramadhan is monitored to be safe

MAROS (AGRIN-ONLINE.COM) - The Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) ensures that the supply of chilies and shallots for the month of Ramadan 2024 is safe. Based on the monitoring results of the Upsus Team from the Directorate General of Horticulture in South Sulawesi, special chili plantings were observed in Cenrana Baru Village, Baji Pa'mai, District. Cenrana, Kab. Maros, South Sulawesi reaches around 110 hectares and pest attacks are low. This area is one of the buffer zones for chilies in South Sulawesi. The monitoring results are strengthened by data from ewssipantara.id, namely an application for predicting rainfall, drought, flooding and potential pest and disease attacks on horticultural plants, which shows that the potential for pest attacks is relatively low.
