China has set a new record by authorizing over 38 Brazilian meatpacking plants to export their products, including 25 beef producers, nine poultry meat producers, and a thermo-processed beef establishment. Additionally, four warehouses have been approved for beef, chicken, and pork exports. This comes as China remains the primary destination for Brazilian meat exports, having imported 8.8 million tons of meat, valued at over US$23.5 billion, in 2023.
