Favorable October weather allowed for an acceleration in the pace of sowing winter crops in Ukraine.

According to operational data from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, as of November 3, 4.848 million hectares of winter grain crops have been sown in Ukraine, or 89.3% of the planned area (5.429 million hectares), while on November 4 last year, 4.908 million hectares of winter grains were sown, or 95% of the forecast. In particular, on the specified date, winter crops have been sown: The sowing campaign has already been completed by farmers in Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava, Ternopil, and Chernihiv regions. The sowing of winter rapeseed has been completed in 14 regions. Currently, 1.06 million hectares have been sown, or 94.4% of the planned area (1.124 million hectares), while on November 4, 2024, 1.074 million hectares were sown, or 96% of the forecast.
