The agribusiness sector in Goiás starts 2026 with good news. The first meeting of the year of the Deliberative Chamber of the State Development Council (CDE-GO/FCO) approved R$ 35.5 million in financing aimed at agribusiness through the Constitutional Fund for the Financing of the Midwest (FCO). The meeting — number 422, held online on January 29 — had the participation of the State Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Seapa) and evaluated 23 consultation letters in the FCO Rural modality, all intended to strengthen Goiás' agro-livestock production. According to the meeting's data, the approved resources benefit producers of various sizes, ranging from small farmers to medium-sized rural entrepreneurs.
