The European Feed Manufacturers' Federation (FEFAC) has warned of potential disruptions in the supply of soybeans to the EU and rising costs for the industry due to legal uncertainty related to the European Commission's proposal for the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), reports Feedlot. As clarified, FEFAC sent a letter to the Danish Presidency of the EU Council of Agriculture, outlining an urgent warning about the risks to the supply chain of key soybeans caused by the proposed "targeted simplified" version of the EUDR.
