Fendt, a brand of the AGCO Corporation, introduced for the first time at the Agritechnica 2025 exhibition the autonomous Fendt Xaver GT system vehicle — a new stage in the development of the Xaver concept, symbolizing the transition from the "single-operator system" of the 1950s to a fully unmanned format. This is reported by the publication Taktorist.ua, citing the AGCO press service. The Fendt Xaver GT is designed as an autonomous platform for performing a wide range of light field work. The machine is aimed, in particular, at vegetable farms, where high precision and frequent inter-row cultivation are required for weed control. Thanks to its low weight — only 3 tons — and uniform load distribution between the axles, the Xaver GT minimizes soil compaction even during multiple passes.
