Fewer organic carrots sold in Switzerland, bananas remain top in the organic segment

In February, 827 tons of organic carrots were sold in Swiss retail. Thus, after February sales exceeded 900 tons in each of the last three years, they dropped to a level similar to February 2018 (830 tons). Organic carrots had a low average price of CHF 2.80 (€ 2.85) per kg in the traditional retail trade this February, which was the result of more store promotions.
