By Daniela Amorim Rio, 11/14/2025 - A 1.65% drop in the cost of residential electricity pulled the deceleration of consumer inflation measured by the General Price Index - 10 (IGP-10) in November, reported recently by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV). The Consumer Price Index (IPC-10) went from a 0.48% increase in October to a 0.21% increase in November. In the ranking of main reliefs in November were also silver banana (-7.80%), long-life milk (-2.89%), urban bus fare (-0.92%), and residential condominium (-0.29%). In the opposite direction, there was pressure from banking services (1.21%), airfare (2.94%), perfume (3.41%), health plan and insurance (0.46%), and deodorant (5.90%).
