FGV: IGP-M rises 0.27% in November, after a drop of 0.36% in October

São Paulo, 27/11/2025 - The General Market Prices Index (IGP-M) rose 0.27% in November, after falling 0.36% in October, the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) reported shortly. With the result, the indicator accumulates a drop of 1.03% for the year and a decline of 0.11% over the last 12 months.

The monthly rate came in below the median of Projeções Broadcast estimates, which was 0.28%. The estimates ranged from 0.18% to 0.37%.

The result was driven by the increase in the Broad Producer Price Index (IPA-M), which rose 0.27% in November, after a drop of 0.59% in October.

There was an advance in agricultural producer prices (-1.45% to 0.46%) and industrial prices (-0.28% to 0.21%).

The Consumer Price Index (IPC-M) accelerated from 0.16% in October to 0.25% in November, while the National Construction Cost Index (INCC-M) increased from 0.21% to 0.28% in this reading.
