By Anna Scabello São Paulo, 01/12/2025 - The Weekly Consumer Price Index (IPC-S) ended November with an increase of 0.28%, following an advance of 0.23% in the third fortnight and an increase of 0.14% in October, according to information recently released by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV). With today's result, the IPC-S accumulates an increase of 4.03% over the last 12 months through November. For the year, the appreciation is 3.71%. The result for November came in slightly above the median of the Projeções Broadcast survey estimates, which was an increase of 0.27%. The projections, all positive, ranged from 0.19% to 0.30%. There was an increase in two of the eight groups that make up the IPC-S in the transition from the third to the fourth fortnight: Education, Reading and Recreation (1.36% to 2.15%) and Housing (-0.02% to 0.30%).
