By Denise Luna Rio, 08/20/2025 - Petrobras is the Oil, Gas, and Biofuels sector company that has stood out the most in adopting good practices in the ESG agenda throughout 2024, according to the ESG Integrity Yearbook organized by Insight Comunicação with institutional support from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV). In the overall ranking, Petrobras came in 13th place. The study highlights the state-owned company's Business Plan 2025-2029, which foresees a 42% increase in investments in clean energy sources and emphasizes that out of the total US$ 111 billion, US$ 16.3 billion will be allocated to low-carbon projects—the largest volume ever allocated by the company in this regard, according to FGV.
