Last Sunday morning, the Frigorífico El Abasto SRL, located in the city of Posadas, suffered a large-scale fire that devastated the truck yard and a large part of the manufacturing sector, causing almost total damage to the machinery and facilities intended for the production of cold cuts and sausages. Federico Panozzo, general manager of El Abasto and second generation at the helm of the company, told Bichos de Campo about the impact of the fire that started at the industrial headquarters. The businessman, who is also the vice president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Posadas, recalled the moment of the call: “On Sunday I was urgently called and informed that the company was on fire. We immediately went there; the manager and other collaborators who live in the neighborhood arrived before us.
