First batch of Philippine frozen durian arrives in China

Maylong is the first Philippine company approved by the General Administration of Customs of China to supply frozen durian meat and durian paste to China. The batch of frozen durian departed on February 11 and arrived in Nansha District on February 18. Philippine fresh durian was approved by the General Administration of Customs on January 7, 2023, and the first batch of durian arrived in China by air on April 7. According to the data of the General Administration of Customs, the Philippines exported a total of 13,457 tons of fresh durian to China in 2024, accounting for less than 1% of the imported durian market.
