[Korean Farmers and Fishermen Newspaper Reporter Young-jin Choi] The Central Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives held a "Visiting Our Fisheries Products Day" to increase students' preference for fisheries products. The Federation, in collaboration with the Korean Dietitians' Association, introduced fisheries product dishes to over 600 students and staff at Myeonil Elementary School in Seoul's Jungnang District on the 9th. This event was part of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries' initiative to expand the distribution channels for fisheries products. The event featured professional chefs who visited the school cafeteria to demonstrate the cooking process, and the dishes were served as meals to over 600 students and staff. The meal menu included cold udon with seafood salad and stir-fried octopus with large flounder slices, among other dishes featuring shrimp and octopus.
