In the early months of this year, Russian fisheries have seen significant successes, with a catch of 464,000 tons of pollock, marking a 19% increase from the previous year. The Sea of Okhotsk was the most productive area, contributing about 415,000 tons of the total catch. Additionally, the period saw a production of 66,000 tons of Pacific herring and 26,100 tons of cod. The ports are currently 71% full, and over the past week, more than 11,000 tons of fish have been exported by rail from the Far East.
