REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman said the recovery of rice fields affected by flooding in Aceh, North Sumatra (Sumut), and West Sumatra (Sumbar) will begin in January 2026. All damaged and ruined land has been recorded and is the responsibility of the government to replant. This decision was made after Amran directly reviewed the affected areas and dialogued with farmers who lost their land.
